Forensic audio involves recordings to be used as evidence in the court
rooms of America. We do a significant amount of work for private
companies and citizens as well. Recordings from answering machines,
surveillance tapes, voicemails, etc. can be cleaned up, transcribed, and
verified as authentic (or not).
What We Can Do for You
- Expert Testimony - We can provide you with sworn expert testimony
of what is, or is not on tape.
- Transcription - We can provide you with a written script of what
was said or heard in the recording. We can also verify an
existing transcription.
- Confirm whether or not a recording has been modified, assembled,
or edited.
Forensic Capabilities
We have the ability to digitize any recording, transfer it to a
computer environment, and analyze it with state of the art technology.
Digital noise reduction techniques can "subtract" background noise from
virtually any recording. Voice enhancement can bring a buried vocal
track forward and increase intelligibility.

- Verify the Location of a Recording
- All recordings take place within a specific acoustic space - a room
or indoor/outdoor area. All spaces have a set of acoustics that
remain with the recording. We can go to a suspected location and
verify acoustically that is was or was not the original location of a
recording. This can place suspects at the scene of the crime, or
prove they were never there.
